Dec 7th!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I'm so glad it didn't take another month!! You are probably so full of lots of emotions...it's a roller coaster that is just beginning. You will feel joy, excitement, possibly fear, more excitement and joy...elation...maybe more trepidation, maybe not. Whatever YOU feel is perfectly normal.
You are in for the ride of your life and we will be here for you. We will answer any and all questions you have. Some of the answers may be to call your surgeon and do what he says.
I had my RNY 6 years ago and they have changed a lot of the prep. I know your doc is a great one and has a fantastic reputation so you are in good hands.
You asked about surgiversary and some of our other milestones. Someone answered about surgiversary being a name invented for our anniversary of surgeries. You may have seen Century Club...that is when you lose your first 100 lbs. Onederland is when you finally get to 199 lbs or below...finally under 200 lbs. Personally I started out at 310 and don't remember what I called it or if I had a name for when I got back under 200 lbs. I think I called it relieved. LOL
If you have any other questions post 'em and somebody will eventually answer. This board is slower than it used to be. A lot of people have left for Facebook. But, this is where you get the real support.
I'l keep you in my prayers. Are you having your surgery at Mobile Infirmary or Providence? I've got a lot going on at work in the next few weeks, but will try to check on you. Please PM me with you name and a phone number and person I can check with if I can't actually make it to the hospital so I can post when you are a LOSER on the board if you would like.

"Tears up"
Thank you so much. I am going to be at Mobile Infirmary. Words can't even describe what I am feeling. Like you sid, a little of all of it.
Right now, I am down to 366 from 398 starting weight. I already feel some better. But I can't even begin to wrap my head around being under 300, much less under 200!!!! I was in 5th grade last time I was under 200 and I am 40 now!
Some of the natural things are worring me right now. Like the fact that my boobs already hang to my stomach, when I loose this weight, will I have to roll them up from the floor and tuck them in a bra?
Will it be the same for my stomach flap? LOLOLOLOL
Crazy stuff.
Do they make 2 or three holes. That such of thing.
Anyway.. thanks for all the help!!
