Bunco Thursday! Whatcha Eatin? Moving?

All I wanted yesterday when I got home was a good stiff drink.  But I knew I had to workout because I can't tonight because I have bunco.  So I went down and worked out, then had supper, then made rice crispy treats for the office, then had coffee.  I passed on that drink and I really wanted it.  The moral of the story is that  gave myself permission to have one if I still wanted it after I exercised.  Now, don't get me wrong, I don't have an alcohol problem, but I was proud that I used something positive to relieve stress!

Today's food:

B-1/2 Jimmy Dean D-light breakfast bowl
S-Kashi bar
S-slim jim
L-a bite of everything at the baby shower
L-a few bites of a taco, beans and enchilada, chips and salsa
D-BBQ served by bunco hostess

Yeah, I ate way too much junk today, but I'll pay for it Saturday with a nice long run

Well, if it makes you feel any better i didnt have such an awesome day. I havent met my calories for the day but who knows about tonight.

Todays my aunts(boss) birthday. So at work we ordered what she wanted which was FIVE GUYS. i LOVE FIVE GUYS but i was good. i did order a burger the way i wanted it and i split it in half. i wrapped the other half up and gave it away before i could even think about eating it. i put 6 cajun fries on my plate and said that would be it. WELL i didnt even finish either one of them!!! yay me!

B-1/2c cottage cheese w/ tomatoes
S-SF Vanilla iced coffee
L-1/2 little bacon cheese burger w./ hotsauce 4 fries
D-we're going out for my aunts birthday just not sure where. I'll make a wise choice im sure.

eta::: dinner. not such a wise choice but my portion control was good. I had the pasta trio w/ grilled chicken parmigian, lasgna, fettichini. It was this new lil Italian place down the road and it was suberb! I'll be going back at a later date. I LOVE italian food! I brought home leftovers that would make me 2 more meals but im thinking of tossing them bc it just screams CARBS to me!!!

Kim, I just love your POSITIVE ATTITUDE!  Way to go, girl.  We all could learn a lot from YOU. 

B- cheese crackers

L- Thanksgiving luncheon at school- 3 bites okra, 3 bites of dressing, 1 bite of blackeye peas and 1 bite of greens.  Saved the rest for supper and bought a plate for hubby and my Dad for tonight.

D-1/2 baked sweet potato, 3 bites of dressing.  It's all I could hold.  I was stuffed, then I DUMPED big time.  Threw up everything, and had diarrhea at the same time.  Was not a pleasant experience. :(

DH and Daddy, had turkey and dressing, whole baked sweet potato, blackeye peas, turnip greens, okra, cranberry sauce and  apple pie.  The entire meal cost me $3 each plate.  I cannot even cook for that cheap.  I  wound up throwing the rest of my meal away.  I didn't even want to look at it again.  Can't figure out why it made me dump tonight but not at lunch.  Crazy dumping syndrome......you just can't ever tell when or where it's going to hit you.

Again Kim, thanks for always being such a postitive role model for all of us.  Keep on posting......

Elle, you probably dumped because your body isnt use to the food. From what i see or have seen you rarely eat enough of anything!!
Sounds like a good deal on the plates.

I still dump on stupid things and boy i did the other night ona BBQ'd chicken salad. i had 4 bites and i knew it was coming back up.i threw up and then it come out the other end. I guess its good that we still do dump...BUT ON SALAD?? i dump on things that are good for me. Pork chops and me do not agree at all. even grilled ones.

Elle you dumped because of the sweet potato and the dressing, to many carbs and you know what carbs do to your blood sugar.   Might have helped if you had added some protein.
