I need your prayers, please...
If any of you have been on FB for the last couple of months, you will know that I have been quite ill. My foot got broken just over 2 months ago during a late night episode of toe and foot cramps. My toes were curling back towards me and cause a break all across the bottom of all my toes. This has been a tremendously painful ordeal for me, First off I waited an entire week to go to doctor with it. Not really knowing what was wrong. X-rays determined that it was not broken, so I was treated for a strep infection in my foot with antibiotics, a week later another dr. added another antibiotic for treatment of cellulitis. A few more days went by, not getting any better and was sent for a bone scan, which they said proved that I had a bone infection. Was put straight in the hospital for IV antibiotics and put on a heart monitor due to excessively high potassium, due to renal failure. (I have been in renal failure for over 3 years due to diabetes, of which I have had since I was 19 years old. It just goes from bad to worse. They put in a pic line the 2nd day I was in hospital and sent in an infectious disease doctor. He was wasn't totally convinced that I had a bone infection so he X-ray'd my foot again, only to find out it had been broken all along. But, what happened to the bone infection??? I only got one round of IV antibiotics thru an IV and not even the pic line, as it had not been placed at the time of the antibiotics I got as soon as I got to the hospital. My PCP came in that night and told me my foot was broke and they were taking the pic line out, and letting me go home the next morning. So, my question is still....What happened to the bone infection. I've since seen an orthopaedic surgeon here in Tuscaloosa on several occasions since being released from the hospital. I also had an MRI and it looked as if the bone was healing well. Well, this whole entire mess started over two months ago and I'm still having problems. My right foot is swollen twice the size of my left foot. It's very read, swollen and slightly hot to touch. I am asking all you prayer warriors to lift me up and cover me in prayer. Cause I know....With God, all things are possible. This time last year I was in the hospital for my kidney disease. I was on the verge of being put on dialysis, when one of my co-workers came by to visit with me and pray over me. The next day, when my labs came back, my levels were back up and I did not require dialysys. Last week my nephologist was considering putting me on dialysys but wants to wait as long as we can.
I am trying to work every day. Some days I have to come home early, due to the pain. Everyone has been so wonderful, patient and kind to me and I'm so grateful to be working with such a loving, caring and supportive staff this year. I have NO sick days to take and have already used up all my personal days going ot dr. appointments and being in the hospital 2 nights and three days.....So, I amd earnestly, only asking for prayer for my health, some family issues (every one is fine) regarding church and our financial situation. It's gonna be a long hard Christmas I am afraid. So, please take a moment and say a praye for me and my entire family. My husband, Kyle, is still suffing from bad migraines. We think he inherited it from his Mom's side of the family. All his brothers and sister have a sever loss of hearing and they all wear hearing aide. They sure have helped Kyle.
Also, would you please pray for God to give us specific answers regarding our church situation.
