George Foreman Grills

Hi everybody,

Do any of you use a George Foreman grill?  Last night, I went to visit my daughter and her husband, and they were using one to cook chicken, and I was very impressed.  My daughter said if you forget to thaw the meat, you can still cook it!  She said it takes about 10 minutes from frozen to fully cooked.  I am pretty much the world's worst about waiting until the last minute to thaw stuff.  :O)   I wanted to get the opinions of others before I bought one.

Thanks,

Kim

Kim I have a george foreman grill for years, wore out 2.  I now have the cuisinart griddler and love it more than the george foreman.   The griddler has removable plates that I can use to grill, use as a panni press, griddle.   The top will open all the way so that you can cook on the bottom and the top at the same time.  I would recommend the george foreman.  What I loved so much about them is for cooking bacon.

I an't give you advice about the grill, but I surely have wanted one for years.  Such healthy, good and nutritious cooking can be done with it. Maybe Santa will bring me one this year.  There are still so many things that still need to be done around the house.  I have hardly decorated anything.  Got a few pictures here and there, but that's about it as for as decorating goes.  Hard to believe we've almost been in our home for nearly 2 years, and what a blessing it has been.  I love our home and it's all ours, except for the bank of course.  LOL  I guess I will just have to buy decorations up after Christmas this year for next year.  Something's are just more important when you are having to re furnish a house after all the catastophic evens that have happened in our own lives.  All I have is a 7 ft pre-lit tree we got last year after Christmas and we bought a 4 ft, pre-lit tonight for our den.  The big tree is for the living room and the 4 ft is for the den. That's about all the decorations we have.  Ive got to get a new tree skirt for the 4ft tree and I already have the ornaments for the trees.  Think I'm going to check out Treasure Hunt and Big Lots tomorrow for a few bargains.

I have a large "other brand" and I've only used it a few times....I know many people that swear by them.  I don't like cleaning it!!  I'd rather go out and light the grill.  That's just me.
