Happy Friday! Whatcha Eating? Big Plans for the Weekend?

Hello all!  I'm back from Nashville!  Went on an awesome 8 mile hike yesterday--it was tough--but I soaked the ole arthritic knee in a hot bath when I got home and today it feels fine.  I do believe that is the "magic bullet"! 

My DH and his son are headed to Michigan tomorrow to visit his family-I don't have enough vacation time so I'll stay home and keep the house running.   Gotta go home early today and get them packed and ready to go--and I've got to make a casserole to take to a friend that had surgery recently.  Busy weekend ahead!!

I've noticed that I really can eat ANYTHING and I do not get sick.  However, I still have really good restriction and cannot eat very much.  I still weigh every Friday so I keep an eye on it--and this week I lost a few lbs which is wierd since I feel like all I've done lately is eat!!  I think the amount of exercise is really helping with the weight maintenance--we'll see.  If I start to creep up, I'll really need to put the brakes on the eating!!

Food today:
B-1 slice ww toast with peanut butter and 1/2 banana
S-Kashi bar
L-Chunky soup (sirloin burger-the Healthy Request one) and light Ritz crackers
S-slim jim
D-steak and veggies

I'll go running this weekend-probably tomorrow-and I'll do weights on Sunday--no exercise today for me--Friday is a day off :)

Glad you had a good trip!!

Im having major leg problems, i can barely walk some days. Yesterday my feet and ankles swelled about 3 times normal size. I panicked and called the dr this morning but he isnt open. Swelling is down mostly but my legs and body still ache. I guess i'll be calling first thing Monday.

On a good note, ive lost 3lbs this week!

i havent had an appetite lately. I try to eat something every 3-4 hours so i dont overindulge when i do eat. it seems to be working but i have to force myself to eat soemtimes and then like last night and again today at lunch i took 2 bites and felt nauseous. I hope it gets better but i'll enjoy not really wanting to eat while it last bc normally i cant wait to.

Today, I had a half of an everything who grain bagel with pizza for lunch.  I forgot all about breakfast.  This past week has been a whirlwind of a week.  even with school  olut yesterday, for supper, I had a bowl of chili that our daughter made for us at her house tonight.  WE HAVE PLANS T put up the Christmas tree sometime tomorrow as well. OH WELL, IT'S GONNA BE A REAL BUSY WEEKEND, i'M Afraid
