It's that time of year again.....
It's time to drag out those lovely, quick and easy holiday recipes that we all deserve and need to battle the power of the bulge. I've lost all my recipes that I had saved due to the computer tech that was fixing a power plug on my computer, He just took it upon himself to clean out my entire computer back to factory condition, saving none of my documents, emails, photos ect..... I am lost without them. If you have any of the good, easy recipes that we all used to share, please send them to me or post them here. I would love the crockpot chicken and dressing, the caramel apple salad, the pumpkin pudding recipe (I know it had sf butterscotch pudding in it and I think cool whip along with canned pumpkin. IT was so good and such a hit at my family gathering. And they all said they didn't like pumpking but fell in love with that stuff. I even made pies out of it one year.
So, if you have any of those old recipes lying around, please share them here with us, so that we can all enjoy them and battle the bulge during the holiday season. We can do this, TOGETHER. I will be looking online to see what I can find that maybe resembles some of the recipes I am looking for. Will you help? Help us all.
I made this recipe this week. It is delish. It is a Kraft Healthy Living Diabetic recipe.
Cranberry Pineapple Minis
1 can (20 oz.) DOLE Crushed Pineapple, in juice
2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin (I used sf cranberry flavor)
1 can (16 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce
2/3 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
1 DOLE Apple, chopped
DRAIN pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to juice to measure 2-1/2 cups; pour into saucepan. Bring to boil. Add to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved.
STIR in pineapple, cranberry sauce, nuts and apples. Spoon into 24 aluminum cup cake-lined muffin cups.
REFRIGERATE 2-1/2 hours or until firm. Remove desserts from liners before serving.
