WHERE IS EVERYBODY???!!
Folks, we are coming into the holiday season and really need to support each other as we are faced with a barrage of food this season!! Everyone get talkin! Lets be there for each other!!
Last night I forced myself to go down and do P90X--legs and back. It is going to be hard to make myself exercise in the cold weather! I am always cold anyway and the cold is making the arthritis worse, so it will be a trying winter for me. I'm gonna get up and run in the morning....not looking forward to THAT in the cold!!
Food for today:
B-1/2 cup cottage chs with NSA peaches and 1/2 ww eng muffin
S-Kashi bar
L-Chunky soup with crackers, grapes
S-Chobani pineapple yogurt
D-tomato soup and grilled cheese
I'm sure I'll have a martini (or 2!) tonight--and no exercise on Fridays for me! Everyone have a great weekend.

I made a big pot of beef stew for supper in the crock pot this morning before heading out to a local Holiday Market! I'm really looking forward to that. I've found that with being able to add in more "normal" foods that I'm a little more tempted to overeat and eat stuff that I have no busy eating. And to top it off I'm grazing a little so I'm not getting my liquids in.
So I'm aware of the bad and am seriously trying to correct it! I love your posts because they show me what a normal day of eating look like ;>)

Listen to Kim S. She is one of the most successful persons I have followed on this site and it is due to her dedication to following the 'rules' and exercising from the beginning and making it a part of her life.
I am 6 years out and struggle with keeping my weight down between 175 and 188. I am at the 185-188 mark right now. I have problems with drinking with meals because I allowed myself to start in the first place. It was never an issue before I tried it the first time and got away with it.
OBEY the RULES ALWAYS!!! Do not start grazing...another of my downfalls. When you get the urge to graze. Drink water or flavored water, or decaf tea, or something that counts as water. You are probably thirsty and not hungry anyway. Don't start it or correct it immediately.
I was down from 310 to 150 and fell into the trap that it was okay to 'cheat' because everyone said I was too skinny!! I know now that I only looked that way because they were used to seeing me at over 300 lbs. Even they admit it now.
I'll get off my soapbox, but KimS. has it together where losing the weight and getting into shape and keeping the weight off is concerned. The exercise helps with the excess skin to a degree. Not totally. It depends on your age and the elasticity of your skin, and the amount of weight you need to lose and where the weight it.
Good luck with your continued SUCCESS!!

You are wise to recognize this behavior now so you can get a handle on it. During the first year you must develop good behaviors because after that "honeymoon" the success you'll have will only be based on your discipline and good habits. Believe me, maintenance is sooo much harder! The farther out you get, the more you find you can eat many different things....and you'll also feel hunger again, so you gotta be prepared.
