i need HELP!!!!! nurse/dr kind of help lol

So, i went to the dr today and i have anserine bursitis. He gave me a shot in my knee. Felt instantly better. well now it hurts again. Its inflammation of the knee so i need ibproufin. Well, we arent suppose to take that. Have any of you took it just for a short period?? Im gonna make a seperate post but im curious bc id love some relief for good!

Hiliary it is going to take several days for you to get total relief.  Did he inject it cortisone?    Try alternate with ice and heat.  I don't know anything else to tell you.  I have taken ibuprofin before but only just a few times.  I like Percogesic, I get mine at Target.

I answered you on the Whatcha Eatin post....but I forgot to tell you that the heating pad makes mine feel much better!

And it took 3 days for my shot to take full effect.
