Over the past 2 months I have gained 15 lbs.  It just happened so fast I didn't realize it until I got on the scale after putting on some jeans that were extremely tight.  My lap band was 2 years ago and I was doing so well.  I am so mad at myself and depressed I let this happen.  Can anyone help me get back on track? I started walking again and trying to cut back on food.  Has anyone done the carnation inst. breakfast several times a day with small amounts of food? And did this help you get back on track?  Thanks for the input.

It is amazing how fast it will creep back up on us!  First and foremost, do you have enough fill in your band?

I recommend weighing once a week to keep it in check.  Go back to the basics:  protein first, no drinking with meals, cut out sugar and simple carbs and don't drink anything that has calories!  Save them for the food.  Exercise, exercise, exercise--walking is good, but try to add some weight training too.

Also, make sure you honestly journal your food intake so you can see where you can make adjustments.

I wouldn't recommend the Carnation instant breakfast idea....you need good wholesome food in your body.  You did it before, you can do it again.

Instead of Carnation, can you do protein shakes?  However, you will have to eat so do not supplement everything with them.  I think at one time or another most of us put on a couple of pounds.  You can get this off.  If is not that much and just think about how far you have come.  I know if I begin to graze on slider foods, I create a deep hole for myself.  You can lose those few pounds...I am sure you have lost much much more!!!!!  Have you an awesome day!!!!!
