Monday will be 6 year Surgiversary!!

Hi all!

Haven't been here or on FB in awhile!  After computer all day at work, by time I slow down at night and put laptop in my lap, I fall asleep.

I've been catching up today and have alot of people to add to my prayer list!  I hope JuJu is healing well.  I am praying for Debbie Doo's results!  I am praying for all struggling with weight gain...go back to basics, WE can do it.  I'm also praying for all who are waiting for surgery.  It WILL happen and you CAN do it!

Monday will be six years since my life began again.  I will never be sorry that I had RNY WLS.  It saved my life and everyone who shared on this board helped me in my journey.  I am grateful first to God, then to this board, my surgeon and the entire staff at the Mobile Infirmary who got me through the first days, again, this board, my family and friends and all who love me the way I am.

Thank you all for being here for me whenever I have needed you whether I have posted a lot or just been a lurker and came out when I needed you!  I love you all and I wish you all success whether you are looking for weight loss, better health, spiritual health, mental health, wealth,  love or all of the above!!!

You have done a fantastic job yourself. 

I have been thinking about my journey because I did get to my goal weight and then had a gain and then lost some more...but not to my goal again.  When I think about not maintaining the loss to my goal I tend to get down on myself.  But when thinking about it this weekend and thinking about numbers...

I have actually maintained a 120+ weight loss for 6 years! That is AWESOME and I should be VERY PROUD of myself...and I am!

Yes, you should be VERY proud of losing those 120+ lbs! That is amazing! Happy Surgiversary to you! It's always so inspiring to see folks who are as much as 6 years out who maintained the lifestyle!!
