Stressed and wanting to smack someone

Ever had a day that seemed to have not one person who would understand you? I am very impatient and this 6 month waiting thing is killing me. I just had my 4th apointment, which is only my third month. I have three more to go. I called the surgeons office to let them know I had the head shrinker apointment, and could I go ahead and schedule the dietian class at Mobile Infirmary. Of course not. I was also told today, that even when I do have the last apointment, it can still two at least two months before the surgery can happen. Grrr I am so frustrated. Not being told this ahead of time makes it worse I guess. I just think there has got to be a faster way. LOL And no, I can't afford to pay out of pocket.

Sooo.. just needed to vent.

The wait is VERY frustrating.....but don't give up hope. 
It will happen.....maybe just not as fast as you want......trust me.....I was the same way.   Then once it takes off.......it will go fast.

Hang in there!

Anytime you have to wait for something you want it makes life very frustrating.  It's ok to vent and I'm just thankful that you have come as far as you have.  Hang in there.  Patience has never been a virtue of mine.  Impatience hangs around my neck constantly - in everything I do.  I'm trying to work on it but I'm getting impatient at not seeing results quicker.  LOL  Yeah, I know exactly where you're coming from.

You won't regret it and the wait will be well worth the reward!

Its like waiting on a baby to be born .

I hate waiting too.  My 180 days will be up December 27.  I hope to have surgery in January 2011.  Time just passes so slow but it does pass.  I am so excited and ready for the weight to come off.  I have lost 5 lbs. on my own so far.  I wish we did not have a waiting period, but I am very thankful that my insurance covers this.
