I'm officially a loser!
My surgery was last Wednesday at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA. and it went fabulously! No nausia, no surprises.
Granted, the pain from having them fill your abdomen with air was ROUGH, but almost gone now. It's amazing how much pain air can cause! LOL My surgeon even pointed out some of the most painful spots before I had a chance to ask...I was thinking "this shooting pain up my neck couldn't be from this, could it" and he said it before I could even ask.
Until yesterday I didn't even weigh myself because I was like "it's too early...I'll probably disappoint myself because I probably have a lot of swelling after surgery and the numbers are going to just dishearten me". But, yesterday I weighed and I have lost 9lbs since my surgery 5 days ago.
Unbelievable. I'm almost out of the 300's already!! And what is even CRAZIER, is the feeling that no matter WHAT, I won't be going back there again. Especially considering my heaviest weight was 379. I can't believe I got that far on my own.
Thank God for modern medicine and giving us the tools to help us help ourselves!
Thanks for all the positive thoughts you guys have been sending :)
