I went home last night to exercise and decided to go to the basement because it was just too hot to go out and run.  I did 30 minutes of P90X plyometrics.  This is the hardest of all the DVD's-very hard on the joints as it is high impact.  I have to pace myself and when the knees start hurting, I'm done.  On the bright side, I'm not sore today from it and I have been all the other times I attempted it, so I must be getting stronger!

Today's food:

B-1/2 slice double fiber toast with PB and 1/4 banana (I made a whole slice, but for some reason could only eat 1/2 of it, so I stopped eating)
S-Kashi dark choc coconut bar
L-Healthy Choice steamer chicken marinara
S-nectarine, Chobani strawberry banana yogurt
D-lemon pepper chicken breast 4 oz and 1/2 c steamed carrot slices (I'll make whole wheat mac and cheese for the boys too, and I might sneak a bite or two!)

Dessert-probably a frozen fruit bar or some fresh pineapple

Workout tonight will be weights-probably back and chest (MY LEAST FAVORITE!)

Yall stay cool!!

Sounds like you are doing great!  I remember those years of football, wrestling, baseball......many, many hours spent at gyms and ball parks!

I STILL can't do 30 minutes continuously on my elliptical!  you go girl!

When you get a chance, play with the HealthTracker on this site.  I use it every day-and once you get your meals/favorites built, it is super easy!

I just entered your day into HealthTracker.  I assumed all chicken was fried and I even included the kiss!  Here are the stats:

Protein 115 grams
Total Calories 1416

calories from protein 33%
calories from carbs 9%
calories from fat 58%

Protein-wise you did good (ideally I try to get 40% of my calories from protein, but if I get over 30% I'm happy).  However, the chicken (fried) and the sausage really upped the fat for the day.    I'd like to see some of the fat calories swapped for complex carbs-whole grains, beans or nuts.  Also, the total of the calories is good (I assume you are in maintenance, or do you still want to lose?).

I'm no expert!  I'm basing this on what is working for me.

Girl, I want to kick that 40 pound re-gain to the curb!!!  I did go to health tracker and played around a bit.  For today thus far I have 584 calories.  I don't remember any of the other counts  but it may help when I get favorites in.  It takes a lot of time locating each food.
Thanks for your help!!

The search makes it faster--and add the items you use a lot to your favorites...I promise it gets faster--I can do the whole day in 5 minutes....

Chobani is available at Publix--my faves are the pineapple and peach...but I also eat strawberry, blueberry and strawberry/banana.  I love honey too, but my Publix never has it.

Sams now has 12 pack....great price!  4 of each-strawberry, blueberry and peach.
