The best chicken!!!

Ok, I have a little trouble with eating chicken, pork and even beef. They like to get stuck quite often unless they are very, VERY tender. I cook a lot of my meat in the crock pot now just for that reason. But my husband decided to cook a chicken on the grill not long ago and I had to admit that it was by far the juiciest, tenderest chicken I've ever had. This is what he did.
We bought a whole chicken and he rubbed it down with butter, garlic salt and meat tenderizer. He then stuck an entire stick of butter inside the bird. He poured beer over it. He then wrapped the bird in foil and put it in a pan and sat it on the grill. I don't remember how long it cooked but I do remember that he would open the foil up now and then and pour a little more beer over it.
I thought I would make myself sick eating that chicken. I didn't even eat any sides. It was delicious.
