Thursday-Whatcha Eatin? Exercising?
Today is donut day at our office, and I had to pick them up. Four dozen mixed from Donut Joe's in Pelham (if you are close enough to go.....DON'T GO!!). Supposedly they are the best (I haven't tasted them, but they look AWESOME! My car smells yummy!
Last night I just did not want to exercise! Wednesday is usually one of my days off, but I needed to do it last night because tonight is Bunco and I can't workout tonight. I went to Publix, unloaded groceries, cleaned all the fruit, put everything away and ate dinner. Then I made a double batch of banana pudding for my son to take to work....then I settled on the couch to watch So You Think You Can Dance. At 8:00, guilt set in so I put on my workout clothes, woke my husband from his post-dinner nap (he THOUGHT we weren't exercising!) and we headed out to the track--we banged out a few miles and then dragged our sweaty butts home. I'm glad I did it, but it was hard.
Food for today:
B-1 egg with 1 slice of Velveeta and 1 slice double fiber toast
S-nectarine, Kashi bar
L-leftover roasted chicken from Publix and salad
S-Chobani banana/strawberry yogurt
D-whatever our hostess serves at Bunco
Yall have a great day, and remember, even if you don't want to exercise, once you get started it is bearable, and once you are done it is MARVELOUS!

No exercise last night but Leo and I will be going tonight. This heat is a killer and we have to mow a couple of lawns on Saturday. I'll be sweating for sure!!
B - 1 egg scrambled with cheese, coffee, bacon
S - maybe some oatmeal
L - not sure
S - not sure
D - we'll be going to Leo's favorite Chinese restaurant. I usually eat steamed rice, some kind of chicken and salad.
I agree that just thinking about exercising is not appealing but once you start and get done - it feels so great!!!!!
It's almost FRIDAY!!!!

Great job resisting the donuts!!! Not sure I could do that. Sweets are a downfall for me. I live close enough to get Donut Joe's but I am not googling where they are located.
B - Protein shake made with yogurt, 1/2 c. Hi-Lo cereal if I need it
S - HiLo cereal (if I didn't eat it yet). Sugar snap peas and hummus
L - Salad with grilled chicken and feta cheese
S - Iced coffee or protein shake, maybe combine the 2
D - Tuna salad on either a sandwich thin or a high fiber wrap
S - Apple and PB
My P90X is here so I am going to read about it and see what I need to do today. Will probably walk later on this evening.
What I thought was the P90X wasn't . We were gone all day yesterday and I was tracking it. It said tendered to local post office so I thought it was my post office. When I checked my P.O. box there was a slip in there saying package. Hubby went to get it. Wasn't my package. I guess i will get it Friday like they originally said. Waaaahhhh!!!!
Good morning ladies. I had one of those microwave sausage biscuits this morning. Along with my Diet Coke!!! I know, I know, I know....you don't have to yell at me :( I have plans to whip my hinny back into shape but I just could not bring myself to do it on my first and second day back to work. I think I will start hot and heavy on Monday. For some reason Monday is just a day to START!! I will more than likely find a salad at lunch. I love salad. I brought some Detour protein bars to eat in the afternoon when I feel like I just HAVE to have something. Don't know about supper yet.
Another question to get your opinion on.....how important is it to have a hernia repaired? It is not giving me any trouble as far as pain but I know it is there.

I love doughnuts but have not had them in quite a while.....just want one every now and then. We have a Publix here now. It hasn't been in Athens a long time. They have awesome fruits and vegetables. I went there this morning and bought some cherries, blueberries, nectarines, and black plums. I am also trying to find my favorite water because I don't like it plain. As of today, Fruit2O in the nature grape flavor is my favorite. I also like the Nestle Pure Life Orange Splash.
I bought some of the Chobani yogurt. I had never heard of that until I saw Kim S. posting about it. I am learning a lot by reading these posts regarding "whatcha eating". I am learning a lot, and I really appreciate all of you taking the time to post this information for all of us new ones.
Again, thanks to all of you!
