Man, this week is dragging!  It is penny item day at Publix, so I'm off to the grocery for the weekly shopping after work!

Last night I did the P90X legs and back....had a lot of trouble with my right knee--so the lunges were a bear.  I think the running is irritating it--need to let it rest....tonight I'll power walk, then I'm off tomorrow for exercise (bunco) and Friday (always take Friday off-that's ****tail night!).  That will have my 5 workouts in for the week!

To my P90Xers:  Make sure when you get you stuff that you watch that 1st DVD-it is the intro.  Then follow the schedule and enjoy!  I'll tell you this:  I do not write down my reps/weights (I know I should, but I don't)-I do not do the workouts in any order--I followed the schedule the frist 2 months--I alternate a weight/ab night then a cardio or stretch or yoga night.  I use the weight DVD's the most-I try to get my cardio workouts outside or on the treadmill.  I do make sure I alway**** a different area of the body:  for instance, if I run tonight, then the next day I'd do an upper body workout.  I cried like a girl the first few weeks I was so sore, but now I can do them all pretty well, keeping up with the folks in the video, and I'm still sore, but not unbearably so.

Food for today:

B-Jimmy Dean D-lights turkey sausage bowl
S-Kashi pumpkin flax seed bar
L-leftover salad and ribs, grapes
S-Chobani blueberry yogurt
D-roasted chicken from Publix and leftover asparagus from last night

Dessert will probably be fresh fruit

Dark chocolate:  do yall like it?  I LOVE it.  The darker the better.  I don't know why I buy it, because if I do, I eat it....and I try to justify it--you know "it's low in sugar", or "it has antioxidants"...yeah, but it is just extra calories and full of fat.............I bought three 85% dark chocolate bars at Tuesday Morning the other day.......2 are at home, but 1 made it to my office and I've managed to eat off of it each day....today will be the end..........  The entire bar was 900 calories (it is a BIG ONE).......which means if I fini**** today (and trust me, I will!) I consumed an extra average of 300 calories a day............IN DARK CHOCOLATE!!  I need an intervention.....and some extra sweat time today when I walk!!

I didn't make it to the gym this morning and that's not good because I really needed the workout.  I ate 2 pieces of birthday cake last night.  Bad girl!!!

B - oatmeal, coffee
S - cheese and more coffee
L - baked pork chop w/brown rice
S - not sure
D - not sure - picking up the grandkids for church and will have to stop to get them something so I'll probably grab some fast food junk.

I told Leo to throw the rest of the cake away.  I have no will power when I'm home alone.  I'll be sneaking to the kitchen too many times.  Bad!!  Bad!!  Bad!!

When all else fails....throw it away!  Good move.  I'll bet you didn't do too much damage....I still don't think you are getting enough calories/protein each day....your body may be in starvation mode.
Oh, and when you take those grand kids out for dinner--everywhere you go there is something that is more healthy (at McD's you can get the grilled chicken snack wrap)...just pick a place where you can make a healthy selection and you'll be fine.

Good Morning! i totally know about the chocolate. except, i hate dark chocolate i love milk chocolate. Before surgery, i didnt really care for it now i love it. I wish sugar mademe dump but unfortunately it doesnt.

Today, im doing better. its a mindset and a game i WILL win.

Tonight im exercising on my elliptical for 30minutes. i havent been on it in a long time so i dont know if i can do the 30 minutes at one time but im going to shoot for that.

L-Ham and cheese wrap w/ hot sauce and a tomato slice on the side.

i got unsweet tea today at McD's and NO biscuit!!! yay me!

Hi Hilary,

I tried the eliptical machine at the gym and I couldn't stay on it for more than 3 minutes.  My legs give out.  I am such a wimp!!!  I'm determined to keep at it though.  Maybe one day I can move on up to 4 minutes.  LOL

I love McDonald's UNSWEET Tea.  I can't drink tea if it's sweet.  Same with coffee - no sugar.  Yuck!!!  And YOOWHOOOO on the No Biscuit!!!!

mrs Debbie the first time i got on my elliptical at home i went for 3 minutes and said "i cant do this, this is ridiculous" well. i kept at it and got up to 30 minutes then i just stopped doing it. id much rather go to the gym i have more motivation there. i guess because people are watching?

i hate unsweet tea or coffee. ive learned to drink unsweet tea but i still like splenda in it most of the time. i wish i could but i just hate it without it.

Hilary, so you like the pomegranate yogurt?  I tried it but the seeds drove me nuts!  30 minutes straight on the elliptical is still hard for me!  Glad you are back and your head is in the game.


OH!  I walked over and gave the rest of the dark chocolate devil bar to a co-worker!!

this is my first try on the pomegrante yogurt. I see you eat the Chobani a good bit so i stocked up on all different flavors to try and today was my first day. I just got finished eating it and i couldnt eat all of it but i couldnt handle the seeds either. i kept picking up out of my mouth. gross!

I use to do over 60 minutes on the elliptical at the gym when i went. im not sure how but i did bc now that i have one at home 10 minutes and im give slap out!!!

glad you gave away the chocolate!!
