TGIF!
So my dear friend that tragically lost her beloved husband to cancer in January became a grandmother today for the first time! Emma Jean popped out at 9 o'clock this a.m....her grandma says she is beautiful and vocal! Thank you Lord for your miracles.
Yesterday I donated blood so I couldn't work out....so I did the next best thing....met a friend for ****tails! Yes, I had two dirty martinis....yummo. I'll pay for it when I work out tomorrow morning...running. I met a friend there that has a friend that is a Wacoal distributor (they make some of the BEST bras/panties/shape wear--pricey stuff). ANYHOO.... she had bags (and I mean BAGS) of the sample sized stuff that was mine for the taking.....I got 15 bras, 3 pieces of shape wear and 22 pairs of panties...all different colors, styles etc.
I could not believe I could wear a size small panty! No wonder my WalMart panties were crawling....I had the wrong size! I've never in my life been a "sample size"!! Much love to this dear friend for taking my lingerie up several notches!!
Today I'm eating:
B-1/2 c 2% cottage chs with s/f peaches and 1/2 ww eng muffin
S-Kashi pumpkin spice flax bar
L-baked salmon, salad and a few crackers
S-grapes, Chobani Greek yogurt
D-not a clue-going to a function at Regions park tonight for the Barron's game
Everyone try to stay cool and exercise indoors (or in a pool!) while we have this horrible heat wave....which is supposed to get worse next week.
