My 7th Anniversary

Seven years ago, today, I had gastric bypass.  I lost 104 lbs in 6 months.
I have been as low as 108 but try to stay around 125.  It has been a bumpy road but I thank God everyday for my good health.  I no longer have hbp or type 2 diabetes.
Thank you, Dr. Freeman and Tim Barnes, for saving my life.

I checked out your profile page and your before photos!!!  WOW!! What a difference.  You look like a totally differnt person.  You have done a great job and deserve a hand!!!

Thank you for sharing your progress with the board.  What a difference it makes to those just starting out to see such a success story.  And, what an inspiration to those of us who have been post ops almost as long who struggle day after day to keep the weight off!!

Thank you, Connie.  It almost seems like yesterday, but,  then again, it is also hard for me to remember when I was  that big.  I must have selective memory. lol

You look AMAZING!!!!! You have done such a great job of maintaining. Isn't good health great??  I can only hope that when I am 7 years post op that I will be maintaining as well.
