Leo and I have been going to the gym going on 4 weeks now. I've dropped the cokes (once again) and I've cut back on my calories and carbs. For 3 weeks I've sat at the same spot on the scales and it's really starting to get me down. I can't remember it ever taking this long to drop at least 1 pound. Any suggestions? I do 30 minutes on the treadmill, 10 mintues on the bike and then I switch up and one day do 30 minutes on upper body and the next day 30 minutes on my lower body. For rbeakfast I'm eating a burrito from Mickey D's - lunch I do something light like salad or refried beans and supper I do regular food but not so many calories. I drink unsweet tea like it's going out of style. I do drink several cups of coffee a day.

Sounds like you need to up your protein....drop that fast food burrito if you can--the tortillas they use are made with white flour--buy the low carb high fiber ones at the store and make the burrito yourself (you can then use low fat cheese too, and you'll know exactly what is in it). Watch the salads too if you are getting those out--I looked one up the other day that I ordered and found out it had 1,100 calories and 4,400 grams of sodium! As far as the exercise goes, that looks fine-I really think the issue is protein. I'm proud of the new leaf you've turned over!

How much water are you drinking?
Are your clothes getting looser?
Sometimes my scale won't budge either because of the sodium I am consuming that's hidden in certain foods.
I agree with the previous poster about preparing more food at home and increasing the protein. Sounds like your body might want to hold on to weight because it's not getting the proper nutrition.
Good luck and congratulations on going to the gym and getting re-motivated.

You are consuming to many fat carbs with your breakfast burito and basically have put yourself into starvation mode. Like said earlier, up the protein and add water.
There is a FANTASTIC addition on your OH profile called Nutrition Tracker. Just go to your profile and look under Tools. You can key in most any food and it will break it down for you. You can also do an activity log. LOTS of great info
