off track, on track.......but oh so worth it!!!!

We have had the most wonderful weekend.  May I tell you about it?  We started out Saturday with  a family get together.  All my brothers and sisters & spouses met Saturday for lunch.  We went to a small restaurant called The Lighthouse.  It was so good.  There are five children so there was ten of us sitting around the table like a family again.  We have a big reunion with all the children, grandchildren and extended family once a year but sometimes we like just the kids.  We then went by the cemetery to visit the graves of mom and dad.

We left there and went to Andalusia.  I had a Sunday of surprises planned.  We wanted to surprise the people at a church we have gone to many times.  We did not let anyone know we were coming.  We just walked in the door of West Highland Assembly of God.  There is no way I can tell you the reception we received.  It was so good to see our friends and worship with them..  Of course we had to sing.  We had a wonderful service.  Then after we all went to lunch we pulled another surprise off.  We went to the church where Scott and Lisa were singing.  We did not tell them we were coming either.  We just walked in the church.  They have been gone for almost 3 weeks so it was good to see them.

I love surprises and we surprised many people this weekend.  I did not do so well with my eating and drinking.  But the weekend is over and I am on it again!!!!

That's the thing about church.....when the preacher stomps your toes.....your brothers and sisters soften the blows with FOOD!  I LOVE CHURCH....and FOOD!

Oh WOW...what a weekend...if only you had had another day and surprised us LOL.  We sure do miss y'all.  BTW...the baby's name is Calista Kinley Smith.  We are getting excited now LOL  Can you tell???  I sure would like to see y'all.  Love you!!!
