OT: Moving Next Month

Watch out Alabama....here I come!
Beginning my move to AL mid-June and will be starting my new job in Montgomery week of July 4!

Looking forward to getting to know some AL wls peeps!

Welcome to Alabama. This board is almost non-existent. I don't come here often because when I began my weight loss journey it seemed this board was not friendly to newbies. I tried but just never quite fit it. But I digress, welcome. I hope you enjoy being in Alabama.

Vickie I am so sorry you felt like we were not friendly.  There are some very friendly and helpful people who come here from time to time.  This board used to be much more active than it is now.  Some trouble makers who were not even from Alabama came in every so often and caused problems.  They came with that intention in mind.  I am sorry to say some of our members did just what the trouble makers wanted.  Hurt feelings caused so many or our family leave.  FaceBook has robbed so many.
Most of the people who post now are so very busy with work and such.  I hold down a full time job and my husband and I travel every weekend with our ministry.  I post when I can but just don't have a lot of time

There are some of us who are trying to revive our board.  Please come and join us.  Become one of the ones who brings it back to life.  I look forward to getting to know you.

It's okay Debbie. I'm not on the board that often. I have been on more in the last few days than normal. Seems there are trouble makers on all the boards. Does wls just make people more mean? LOL.

Thanks Ladies.  I am very excited and looking forward to my move. 
I have been waiting for this for almost 2 years.  My son graduates June 8 and my fiance works in Opelika.......getting married next summer  :-)   Seems like my life is on track and things are working out great.  

Hopefully my fiance's house will sell quickly so I won't have to make an hour long drive very long.  We are hoping to move 1/2 way between Auburn and Montgomery.  

I am NOT going to miss the cold and icy KY winters!!!!!!!

Congrats on the upcoming marriage.  I hope you do find something in the middle.  You may not miss those icy KY winters but I guarantee.....the mountains will be missed!
