Good Morning Bama Board!!!!!

Wow, nothing..........The Bama Board seems like it has gone the way of the Dinosaur!  So Sad.  But being alone in a room never stopped me from talking.  I'm so social I can enjoy an empty room. 

So here's the thing, this tool we have.  IS NO GOOD AT ALL if we don't use it properly.  Are you pushing the envelope?  Are you adding things to your intake that YOU KNOW you are not suppose to eat?  It's real easy to fall back into old habits.  I KNOW...I have done it!  So.........my Goal today is #1 drink water,  #2  watch how much food I take in and #3 BE NICE To someone today! 

#3 isn't about losing physical weight it's about unloading stress, most of us are emotional eaters.  Let's just be nice to someone and offload negative feelings.

Good morning my friend Lisa.  Yes our board has gone.  Several of us from time to time has tried to revive it.  I never thought I would see this happen.  OH caused some of it and people from other boards caused some of it and FB caused most of it.  It just hurts my heart because I remember how important this board was to me when I was starting my journey.  I enjoy reading FB and catching up on friends but WLS support is not there.

I am starting this day to change my diet habits (AGAIN)!!!  I can do all things through Christ who strengtheth me!!!!!

It's not totally gone.  We drop in and say hi to one another every once in a whilel  I know you tried really hard to revitalize it and I appreciated it.  I know what you mean about FB.  I haven't even checked in on there until today for a couple of weeks.  I've been obsessed with Word Game on FB lately. I start the game and fall asleep with the laptop in my lap at night.  I am hooked, what can I say.  Its good to see you posting and to see your little lady bug walking across the bottom of your page.   Tell Jimmy hello.  Hope to see you soon.  Love you!

Hello my friend.  I am kind of late getting on the computer.  I am trying to get everything finished these last few days of work.  I have about two weeks more to work.  I am counting the days.

I have tried so hard to keep the board alive but it has not worked.  I just feel so guilty when I think of all the support everyone got from this board and now when a new person comes for support no one is here for them.  I remember when I first found the board I was just starting my research.  I would start reading all the posts and before I knew it I had stayed up all night reading.

Okay, enough of that.  We MUST plan a play date soon.  We are going to Texas right after I get off work but we will plan something after that.

Debbie...you know I love you more than chocolate (and that is ALOT).  I love the Bama Board, but I have now become mainly a lurker myself.  It hurts to see this board gone.  I remember when I began, there was a constant run of threads on the board.  It fascinated me at the support and love that I felt here.  However, it has changed.  FB is a great site, but as you all say...not a weight loss support board.  I have mainly old school chums and my church friends and some of you on FB that I love to hear from.  This board was my support with WLS. 

I love you and Jimmy, Scott and Lisa and Tim.  You are all so precious to me.  (BTW...I went to Broken Vessels site and could not figure out how to pre-order the CD.  Can you help me??? LOL)  I love ya, bunches!!!!!

Hi my other Debbie friend!

It is always so nice to see a post from you on OH Bama Board!  I'm still hanging in with FB, but mostly just playing Word Drop!  I love your honesty and I know you can usually make me laugh at myself because I usually identify with whatever funny story you share.  If not, I just enjoy the story because you tell them so well!

I know what you mean about the body language speaking louder than words at work.  You do accounting now don't you.  That is the kind of work that it is hard to have interruptions and get your work done...so don't be so hard on yourself.  This is from one bookkeeper to another.  I understand!!  You have to be in a hurry to get your work done.  I love you my favorite Salad Shooter!!! I ROFL everytime I remember your story about your Boss' nickname for you and why!!!  I hope your day ws great and your tomorrow is even grater.  God bless you!!
