Pre-op appt. with plastic surgeon today!!
Great! And it looks like you are two years out which I've heard is the earliest we should consider plastics....what's your opinion on that?
I don't know if I'll consider it--my surgeon told me the other day I am a lucky person to not have too much loose skin (for losing 167 lbs!). I do have some, but don't want to write the check for plastics!! ;)

My guess is that it's just up to the person. If you feel like it's something that would make you happy you should go for it. I started out weighing 351 and lost well over 200lbs so I have major issues with loose skin, particularly in my abdomen, which is why I am having plastic surgery. Of course, I would like to do my arms and thighs but insurance considers the tummy a reconstructive surgery depending on the amount of skin rather than strictly cosmetic. So I will have to wait to get the arms and thighs when I can afford it. Basically, I'm 29 with 2 kids and I'm looking at it as a reward for the hard work. I thought going in to gastric bypass at a younger age would help me to not have as much loose skin but apparently not! It all depends on the person. :) How much have you lost?
