Good morning!!
Sorry again to say that I am scarce around here. I've been asked if I still wrote coffee talk every morning. I had to hang my head in cyber shame because I have not been faithful as of the last several months. I am glad to say that I am writting a book. I wish I had every coffee talk I ever posted. That would be one book to publish. I have an editor that is helping me and she is going to hook me up with some publishers. The title of my book is.....Out of the Ashes. Just as Job sat in the ashes and could have cursed God, as he scratched his sores, yet he STILL praised God. It took Job 42 chapters, but God gave him back double in life. I'm not Job and I don't know what all he did go through, but just as God raised Job up out of the ashes, I too got up and stood. At age 42, God promised me that HE was going to give my life back and I would be blessed double. At age 42, I married Lucy and God is turning my life around. I'm too blessed to be stressed. !!!!! AMEN!!
Lucy and I have graduated the Ministerial Internship Program through the Church of God and have Commissioning May 21-22 in Cleveland, Tn. I am still attending school to get my Bachelor's Degree and I graduate next May and possibly finish sooner. I do lurk some and my mail box is full. I appologize. I just wanted you all to know I think of you, pray for you, love you, and miss you all.
Lucy and I ARE back on track. The first year of marriage we got off track. Being happy does that to ya. We are STILL happy, but focusing on health and living the WLS life. I have my 6 year check up this month. We'll see what happens then and I promise to update.
I have gained 18-20 lbs. give or take a day. I lose 5 and gain them back. I'm determined though and we are going to the gym. That is a good thing.

I love you and Lucy and am happy everything is back on track. My mom is writing a book entitled "God's Almighty Army and His Green Berets". I've been proofing it and its chocked full of wonderful nuggets to live by. Let us know when yours comes out in print.
