Thursday Hugs

He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.  (James 1:6-7)
The person who asks anything of God without faith is not going to receive what he requests.  I know many people who make petitions to God, including myself, by saying maybe "Lord, I know you are more than able and most wise and I know You can meet my needsw, BUT..."  The word BUT is a killer.  Normally, that is a statement or word of doubt, not faith.  Some of us believe God can, but we have doubts that God will.  He tells us that if we come to Him with that attitude, we should not even waste our time praying.  When we pray, we must pray believing that He will do what He says He will do.  Then enjoy the wait until He answers.
