Bought my first size 8 jeans today!

I cannot remember any point in my adult life when I've worn a single digit size-quite honestly, the smallest I ever remember is 11/12.  Today I bought 2 pair of size 8 jeans at Sams....I bought them without trying them on and just knew I'd have to take them back....but alas, THEY FIT!!  I can't believe how wonderful this surgery is and how amazing it has made my life!

Congrats!  That is great!  I haven't worn an 8 since high school.  That would be wonderful to wear an 8 again! :-)

Hi, I just noticed that you live in Tuscaloosa.  I have a job interview there in a couple of weeks.  I currently live in Georgia.  Do you know of any support groups that meet regularly in Tuscaloosa?

Hey Paige.  Yes, I am in Tuscaloosa.  Lived here all my life.  Where are you interviewing?  You can just send me a PM if you want.  There is an awesome support group called Genesis that meets at DCH Hospital every 3rd Thursday night of each month at 6 pm.  It's on the first floor (1 Center) in the Willard Auditorium.  Please stay in touch and I look forward to meeting you.

That is great to hear that there is a support group there.   There is not one for me to go to where I live now.  I am interviewing at Shelton State for a Math Instructor position.  Before I moved to Georgia, I taught at Lurleen B Wallace in Andalusia for 15 years.  I would love to get the job at Shelton State, but I know the process they have to go through even if they already have someone in mind.  So, I am trying to stay level headed about it :)  I will keep you posted.  I don't know anyone in Tuscaloosa!

Hey, that's fantastic.  I work at a Middle School close to Shelton and we lived in that area for 20 years, only moved closer to town 2 years ago.  Both our girls go to Shelton.  Oldest in nursing the youngest in Cosmotology.  I wish you the best in getting that job.  Please so stay in touch.

Paige, Karla C from T town also does a support meet once a month.  I think she usually does it at Jason Deli.   I also believe she does it the first Thursday at about 6P.  I will find out for sure and let you know.
