Mary's musings

Good morning.  Wasn't yesterday a wild and wooly day? I took my car to Decatur for service and the wonderful JuJu met me there. We went to Cracker Barrel and ate breakfast then we hit about 27 Thrift Stores and Consignment Shops. We had a wonderful time. I came home with a backseat load of stuff and only spent $20. I found a CD I wanted(I don't normally listen to music, I have audiophobia and can't listen to music but for about 20 minutes then it makes me a nervous wreck and I cry. When my son wants to warm me aboiut my behavior he warns me he will be the one picking out my nursing home and he will insist on piped in music 24 hours a day. I always shape up right away)But the lady who ran the shop said it was her personal CD and it wasn't for sale. I told her how much I loved to here JD Stamp and she said it wasn't for sale under any condition. She was sorry. Well, by the time we left that shop the lady gave me the tape free of charge. She seemed glad to be rid of us for some reason. She was also a physic. I know because Judy and I did not mention we had just came back from a cruise to the Bahamas. But I heard her muttering as we walked out the door something about sunny beaches. I have to admit I was on extremely good behavior yesterday. Of course JuJu wasn't quite as well behaved as me but everybody can't be, right. Now don't tell her I told this but she tried to stiff me with her breakfast bill. She walked off without her bill but I chased her down and made her pay it. She tried to claim she was just going to the bathroom but I wouldn't here any of that rubbish. But she did look a little funny with her legs crossed at the cash register.

Now here is my quote for the day:
IF GOD DOES NOT LIVE-NOTHING MATTERS.
iF GOD DOES LIVE- NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

Have a wonderful day I intend to. Love, Miss Mary
