Approval by BCBS of AL?

My surgeon's office has all my info to submit.  Once they do, about how long will it take to approve everything?

Oh my goodness!  You are so close!  Once mine was submitted, I had an approval in 3 days verbally, then my letter came in a week!  Best wishes, it is a wild ride, and I've never regretted it!

Thanks!  I think the next week will be harder than the time during the 6 month diet!  I am ALL nerves!  All prayers welcome!!! :-)

Welcome to the Bama Board and congratulations on getting through the 6 month diet and getting your paperwork submitted!!

The hard part is behind you.  The best is yet to come!  I have said a prayer for you!  I will be watching for your approval and surgery date!

Good morning and good luck to you.  Once Blue Cross has it and as long as their is no holidays it shouldnt be long.  I had to get thru Thanksgiving and Christmas but then i had to wait on hunting season to end because my husband wanted to be there.  it was worth the wait.

My doctor's office submitted to BC online and had the answer in 2 hours.

Wow! That must be nice.  My surgeon's office has had mine since last week and I haven't heard anything.  I've left 2 voicemails and have not received a call back.

i will say that I hope it is because they are extremely busy.  Surely that have submitted my info to my insurance by now.  Especially since I'd like to have this surgery during my kids' spring break.  We have a late spring break...so having someone keep them and not have to take them to school and do homework would be great.

Jane his office might be moving into their new office.  I can't  remeber if was going to be this week or next week.    Beverly will return your call.   You do have the best surgeon, I can't say enough good stuff about him and his staff.

Yep....I was just afraid it was because I wasn't approved.  BUT I am!  My surgery is April 5th!
