Sending out big hugs and pinches to all without green on this awesome St. Patrick's Day.   You all have a great great day!!!!  I love ya!!!

There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher.  She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.  She never left the temple but worshipped night and day, fasting and praying.  (Luke 2:36-37)

Anna was married only 7 years when her husband died.  She could have given up, felt sorry for herself, became a helpless victim, and just stopped, but she didn't.  She did not let the loss of her husband turn into depression and isolation.  She did not allow her situation to rob her of her joy and her purpose.  She followed God to fill the void left by her loss.  She got up each day and worshipped God.  She was one of the first who proclaimed the birth of Jesus.  She was honored for her faithfulness.  How much would she have missed if she had sat at home in her misery and pity.  Oh my...now I am talking to me.  Many times I have missed out on things that God had in store for me because I sat at home when I should have gotten up, got my clothes on and went out and worshipped Him.  When we begin to worship the True and Living God, all other things disappear.  He inhabits our praise.  I never want to miss another blessing that God has in store for me.
