Dr. Groves in Albertville-anyone used him before?

I have a consultation set up with Dr. Groves in Albertville for March 25. Has anyone here used him and had the bypass done? It seems to me that his office mainly performs band surgeries. I am a current band patient (NOT thru Dr. Groves) planning to get the bypass done due to super minimal results with the band. I had the Realize band placed in August 2008, day of surgery I weighed 300 lbs, today I weigh 292 lbs, I have 7.5cc in my band. I am just looking for people's opinions on Dr. Groves and definitely looking for anyone that has used him and had the bypass done. Thanks!!

I did not use him. I have a friend who I helped get the bypass. I met Dr. Groves then. I know three people who have used him and all three are very happy with him, The follow up care isn't exactly ideal but none of it is in my opion. I already had my surgery when I met him. Good luck. Miss Mary
