made it through, but nauseous and have a headache
Wow....that was fast. You take care of yourself!!! You really do need to call you Dr. office. Doctors are different with their treatment and after care. When I had my surgery almost 6 years ago, I could not take any type of pill for a pretty long while. I don't remember exactly how long but everything had to be liquid. Please keep us informed of your progress.
I'm feeling weak, but much better than yesterday, at least I can see clearly now and stay awake for more than 5 minutes :) I tried calling my doctor today but I didn't get a call back, my husband told me though that there is a number I can call at the hospital for questions and such, so I'll probably do that tomorrow. I've been wearing these arm bands for the nausea, St. Joseph's I think, I think they've been working because I haven't gotten sick yet. The headache has gone away too. My only issue right now is whether or not I should take the unisom sleep melt to help me go to sleep tonight. My doctor put that it was okay to take it, but i don't know if they knew it was the sleepmelt or that it had sugar in it. Have any of you had any experience with this? I'm just not ready to experience that dumping syndrome.
