So..who do you have for your ISP and are you happy? What are the pros and cons of any particular service?

I have been on dial up forever---and it is reliable though as we all know, a bit slow. I would also like to be totally wireless.

As a result, on 12/22, I had AT&T DSL installed. Nice,
WHEN IT WORKS--which for me appears be be as often not as much as it actually does. After MULTIPLE phone calls and empty promises and outright lies, I have discontinued service with AT&T.

Currently back with dial up but thinking about COMCAST CABLE internet. (Would like to be able to tell AT&T to take the home phone out too)

Does anyone have experience with COMCAST internet service or can you give suggestions for other services available in the Huntsville area?

Just asking....

We had centurylink (centrytel) until today.  We changed to Coosa Cable.  Centurylink charged us 128.00 last month for JUST internet.  They had told us it would be 39.00 a month.   Also, they repaired out router and their box and all three of our computers went down.  They said it was our fault.  My son disconnected their box and then they began working.  (We must have been picking up internet from someone else.  It was strange.)

Anyway...the only thing I can say is I do not like CenturyLink.  We had our home phone taken out in January.  Our bill went up.  LOL
