Good Morning! What a Terrific Tuesday God has planned out for you. Yes, planned out just for YOU!
I was sitting here this morning and thinking about my Bible study as we move through Esther.
I was thinking about how many people may not read the bible at all. I have met alot of people these past few months who have never even picked up a bible. Setting up a church in a movie theater since October, God has certainly used my family in ways I never even thought of.
I encourage you if you haven't read the bible yet to begin. You can begin with Proverbs. In Proverbs their are only 31 chapters. This will give you a chapter to read every day of the month. It is also good to read Psalms daily. Psalms has 150 chapters. Some chapters are long but you can chose to break them up and read them over several days.
You can also pick up a one year bible. In these bibles it is structured and has a portion of a scripture with a reading plan.
Now you might be thinking... I don't have time to read. I work and I am so busy with children, my spouse, my friends, my life is so hectic!!
Believe me I know how busy life can be. Here are a few suggestions:
Read before you wake the kids up; take 10 minutes (You can even read in bed). Keeping the bible on your night stand you can also read at night prior to going to bed.
Read once you get the kids off to school.. or if you go to work read in the car before you get out to go inside your workplace. (You can even keep the bible in the car) If your always on the go, before you get out take few minutes to read!
Read during your break at work or during your lunch hour. A good book especially this book keeps you FULL in so many ways!
Try joining an email devotion or IM devotional group! Like Joel Osteen. Joel & Victoria send out a daily reading --a bible scripture and it's a great way to begin your day on that GOOD NOTE!
My son even has an app for his cell; so if you have an Iphone or some sort of smart phone there is a bible app available. Also you can get the bible on CD and put it in your CD player and listen on the way to work/home and everywhere you go.

You can even combine these suggestions, taking a few minutes here and there so you don't have to sit down and read alot at one given time. And the positive influences are with you all day long. There are so many great ways to absorb God's word.

I hope some of these tips will help you in your Walk with God!

(((HUGS))) Have an amazing Tuesday! I guess I just made the terrifc Tuesday a tip Tuesday!
