Finally back from Ky

Well, I am finally home after being gone for 2 months. Got back Feb 10th, than heaven my flight was on Wed or I would have been snowed in. I about froze there and then get back here and it was a bit warmer than in Ky, though we had a few snow flurries here on Fri. I didn't t do too bad on my weight loss while I was gone, did manage to continue losing. Thanks to all of you who prayed for me while I was gone and prayed for my brother, too. He got his leg out of that big, bulky brace he was wearing. The doc said the femur looked pretty much healed and bone was filling in around the break in the femur. He gave him the ok to start putting full weight on his leg and I still had to fuss at him to keep his heel alll the way down on hat left leg. He got too used to just toe touch for 3 months. He is gettting rehab at home, this should be last week or one more week, then to outpatient rehab at the outpatient facility by the hospital. I think he will do fine. I just told him he doesn't have me to remind him and make sure he does those exercises, if he doesn't do them that's his responsibility and he's hurting noone but himself. He has a real good therapist from home healthcare, found out they go to the same church. I was really glad to be home, back in my own church, and see the kids in my AWANA class last night.               I do have a prayer request, one of my best friend's here has a new grandson. He was born week before last at 27 weeks, they give heim a 80% survival rate but also say there is a 60-80% chance of reallly severe medical problems the rest of his life. He weighed 1 1/2 lbs. He wasn't getting blood from the umbilical cord and they had to take it or he wouldn't have made it. His mom is having really bad problems with her blood pressure, they have tried several meds and can't get it under control. It was in the 200's over high 100's. She lives in Destin, Fl but they sent her to Pensacola. Mom's name is April and baby's name is Ethan, so please keep them in your prayers.  Gotta go, meeting my friend for late lunch, then going to see her granddaughter rehearse for a musical production she is in Fri, Sat,  and Sun.  Everybody take care and I'll be back on this board later                                           Linda
