Good Morning and Happy Chinese New Years!! In need of a support group

Does anyone know if there is a WLS support group at SE med center in Dothan?  I know there is one at Flowers.  As much as I loved the staff there, I just still have hard feeling toward that Doc.  I am feeling the need for an in person support group right now.

There used to be a support group at SEAMC.  I had to stop going because it met on a night that I was occupied. 

We need to start an OH group in the Dothan area.  I for one need the support even at 9 years post-op.

How do we find out if there is still one at seamc or start one ourselves? 

They still have the one at the medical center. I haven't been in forever. I think the last notification I got said that they had cancelled the meeting in February but would start back in March. They usually meet on the second tuesday of the month at 6 for a light dinner and meeting.

You can call Belinda Herring at the Medical Center in the Physical Therapy Department. She is the one that sends out the notifications of the meetings.

I would love to, but will have to see how soccer season is going with the HS'er.  It's a bit of a driver isn't it?
