Friday Hugs

 Sending out hugs on this snowy Friday morning.  YOu all be very safe and stay warm.  I love y'all!!  


The Lord raises those who are bound down; the Lord loves the righteous.  Psalm 146:8

God is aware of, concerned about, and involved in every area of need that we have...great or small.  Too often, however, we want to face and deal with only our external needs.  We want God to provide a microwave fix for us only in the tangible, material realm of life.  To dig deeper into our neediness is something we see as painful, unnecessary, or too spiritual.  God does not agree with that approach.  He is even more concerned about the needs that impact our very identity and our potential as human beings.  I know that in my personal life, the root to my obesity is other issues.  Rejection, low self esteem and many other negative factors may be what is actually causing our issues.  He does not want us bound down by anything.  Once we are free, things begin to change.
