Protein & Iron

I cooked a very good lunch today. Will have leftovers for supper. I cooked white beans w/onion, ham & ro-tel tomatoes in them & spinach....YUM!! I also cooked fored apples (they really are steamed I guess, I just call them fried) & cornbread.  My husband turned up his nose & ate milk & bread. My some ate the beans & bread. I have a very picky bunch around here, but my son really enjoyed the beans! They were very very good! On another subject, I know I have been away for a long time but what has happened to the board? There are hardly no posts compared to what use to be on here. Hope you are all having a happy Saturday. GO SAINTS!!!!

your lunch sounds awesome to me!!! What do you do with the ham and rotel? I love ANYTHING with rotel....W ait, while typing this i think i figured it out. LOL You cooked white beans with onions ham and rotel. Duh me. I can be blonde sometimes!
How do you do your apples? Your always cookin up good stuff i wish i lived closer!!!
