Good Morning! I missed yesterday because I was reminded at 3:00 am yesterday morning that, "yes! A mother I still am"
Since Jonathan married in October...I have had a little run-in with the "empty nest" DISEASE (not syndrome)! Tearful moments when I would just sit and wonder about the rest of my life. I told a friend how I missed being Mommy, and how I wish I could go back to even the times when he would wake me in the middle of the night!
I think the Lord heard me!

At 0300 yesterday my Cell began to Buzzzzzzzzz! It was Dorothy calling and in the background I could hear my son screaming! He was sick, throwing up, with abdominal pain, so in full mommy/nurse mode I jumped up grabbed my things and drove to their house. I attempted everything that my knowledge of twenty something years in both field fields could offer. HE WAS STILL IN PAIN! So I put them in their car and had her head for SAMC! I went home showered and put on my uniform because I was still needed at work at 06:30. When I got to the hospital they had loaded him up with a little Demerol and Zofran and Bentyl...so he was resting. They had ordered a CT and so I left and went to the office. I got the clinic rolling and they called in support staff to help so I ran back to the hospital for an hour and his CT was normal! Just a virus! Back to work for me until 6:00 pm last night! A long day! But guess what came from all of this!!!!!!
I no longer miss being woke up by a sick child in the middle of the night! LOL!
