o.h. cards ???

Hello Everyone. I recently went and visited my Dr and asked for a card to use at resturants and such and he said that i could get it off o.h. .com well ive looked every where and can not find it. can any one help me please.. not that everyone asks for one. but it would be nice to have if i need it.

Hi Nick's mom!!!  I took a quick look around the site to see if I could locate the card.  I did not see it or it did not jump out at me.  I know may on this site are very helpful with such as this.  Louise is  very knowledgeable and I feel sure she will reply and give you some help.  I just wanted to say hello.  I am from Chatom.  Welcome to the Alabama Board.  Come by often!!!

So nice to meet you Theresa.  Dr. William Lightfoot did my surgery almost 6 years ago.  I wish I could turn the clock back and do things a little differently on my journey.  I have picked up old habits and have a difficult time with weight gain.  I have got to get a hold!!!

Come back often and become a "part" of us.  We will welcome you with open arms!!!  Do you do a support group in Mobile?  I know the one at Providence is great.  It is where I go when I get to go.  I have some great friends in that group and I know they would love to have you join them.  Let me know if you want info.

You can use something like this but keep in mind that all restaurants do not honor them especially those with a buffet.  Sometimes I will order from the menu and get something that will reheat well.

You know, I have one, and I've never had to use it....I just make my husband share his meal--and if they tell us there is a share charge, I tell them I've had WLS and they don't make us pay.....now, I do always tip as if I'd bought two meals.....keeps the servers happy!

I never joined one , but i should . There is one at mobile infirmary . and i live like 3 mintues away.

Theresa I had my surgery at the Infirmary too (I also work there) and I have NEVER been to any of those support groups.  I was thinking about going this month to the Infirmary one though.

Dr Hannon told you about OH?   Dr. Dyas didn't tell me!  I found out from a friend that OH existed about 2 months after my surgery!  I was going to fuss when I went back to my next appointment cause I've gotten so much information here and I wish I had known about it all along.

At restaurants I just order something off the appetizer list which I don't each much of but I eat bites off of what my husband orders.   Nothing on the kiddie menus appeals to me!

but im really thinking about the support thing. but right now im trying to get the motivation to go to pro health.. im down about 90 somthing. it slows i notice once in a while .but thats ok. are you having any trouble eating ...??? you can email me off of o.h. at [email protected]
