What are you doing today?????

Today I am having a fabulous cup of coffee.  As if any cup of coffee would be anything less than fabulous?!?!

At 10:30 I have a piano lesson...(this was my gift to myself Christmas one year ago).  Then when I return home I have a pile of laundry that could rival Mt. Everest!  Oh, and of course I must leave some time to work in my "craft cave".  I need to mop the floors and vaccuum.  I NEED to get back and set my guest room back in order.  Sometime today I have to prepare for my Sunday School class tomorrow!

Seems like a full day huh!?!?  In the middle of all of this rush and hurry and do.   I also have to fit in exercise and planning so that I don't fall into the "junk food" pit.  That's that hole in your kitchen that grows bigger and bigger the longer you put off preparing a good meal.  "I'm to busy so I'll just grab this and eat it."  Then an hour later..."wow I'm hungry again I'll just nibble on this", and then a little while later...."this will settle my hunger".

Before you know it the "PIT" has swallowed you up and you have swallowed the KITCHEN!  hence, a weight gain!

Do you do this?  I do, but today I will plan my meal and not snack, and indulge the very behavior that helped me reach 300 lbs...just a little over 6 short years ago!

Come and Folks!  Let's DO THIS TODAY!  CONTROL!  WE HAVE THE POWER TO CONTROL OUR WEIGHT!

My craft cave is my old guest room!  When Jonathan left home I moved my Piano and Joe's weight set to his old room.  I then emptied out my guest room and made that the craft cave....this is my own haven!  I love to sew so that's one craft!  My other passion is card-making and scrapbooking and the craft cave is full of that stuff as well as my computer and printer.  This is also the area I use to prepare my Sunday School lessons as well.   I also re-craft old dolls....and do anything I can with my crafty little hands!  lol! I have TWO 8 foot tables in the room with about a 3 foot isle between them and shelves and little carts and I have so much fun in this room.  It's a GREAT room!

Had my coffee earlier.  Sitting and relaxing today...preparing my sermon for tomorrow night.  Preaching on "There's a Healer In The House".  Jesus not only heals the body.  When we talk of healing, that is the first thing that comes to mind.  Jesus not only bore the stripes for our physical healing, but for our mental healing, spiritual healing, and our emotional healing.  He heals our every sickness.  EVERY!!

Sounds like you have a great day planned.  Are you playing that piano you got from us?  I've gotten another one and I sure am glad.  LOVE and miss playing.  I don't play at church any more.  I have to say, I miss my home church.  God is up to something.  Keep us in your prayers.  We only want HIS PERFECT will for our lives and ministry.

I've missed the Bama Board.  Tell Joe hello!
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"

Hi,

Absolutely HE HEALS THE ENTIRE PERSON!  We do focus on the physical more than on the spirit and mind.  I believe that all can be healed, I also believe some things are left because without them we might not be able to humble ourselves to HIS WILL!

I am playing and loving my Piano, It's had some work and I intend to take the time to pad and cover my bench this year.  My instructor is awesome and a very devout CHRISTIAN!  Sometimes the lessons run over because we get to talking about the Lord and his goodness!  Had my first recital in December and I played the First Noel...Nervous as I was I was very proud of myself.  Singing, has never made me as nervous as I was on that day!  The Lord guided and kept me calm and it went very smoothly!

Thought I'd chime in on this post.

I am waiting for my boyfriend who lives in AL to arrive in KY....and he is driving through some horrible road conditions!   I had 6 inches of snow at my house and it is still snowing.  I am currently at work.....hoping and praying I do not have to work a double shift!  When the weather is like this, so many people can not make it in and the ones of us who are here must stay  :(

I got up early, did laundry, vacummed, swept, cleaned the kitchen, changed sheets on the bed, and watched part of a movie!  Very full day for me.

I do well in planning my meals and snacks.....until those little sweet temptations show their face in the form of chocolate, cookies, chips......you get the picture.

Hope everyone has a great evening.

Hi Leslie!

I sure hope he made it okay!  My Niece in Tennessee called and told me the weather was HORRIBLE!!!!!

I understand those temptations!  Seems that the worse food is for our nutritional goals....the easier it is to get hold of!

Hello.
He did make it.  Finally.  Funny that you mentioned TN.  He had to spend Sat. night there as they had closed I-75....so he made it safely on Sunday.
Ironic thing was he got stuck in a little town called Swee****er......one of our little weekend getaway spots......so sad that I wasn't there with him.
