Thursday Hugs

What do we do when the car breaks down, our children give us a hard time, our husband or wife lose their job or a good friend totally rejects us?  Sometimes, our emotions are tender.  We don't feel that our lives are going the way they should.  Jesus knows exactly what it is like to experience grief.  Thanksgiving is an act of the will.  It means looking at a negative situation and acknowledging that God allowed that situation into our lives for a reason.  We can thank Him in full faith because we know the current pain is another opportunity for Him to demonstrate His grace and greatness on our behalf.  Instead of whinning, grumbling and complaining, we should give thanks in all situations.  When we begin praising Him and thanking Him for what He has done, we can watch situations change and mountains move.
