Saturday Hugs

...."Listen and understand.  What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean', but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean'.  (Matthew 15:10-11)

Jesus is telling his disciples that it is not the food that we eat that is unclean, but rather the words that would come out of our mouths to harm others that is unclean.  We can do so much harm by speaking negativity and hurt to others.  We never know how fragile a person is or how something may affect them.  We should always guard our mouths and be careful what we say.  Speak good things, and things that are helpful.  Even when we have to say things that aren't pleasant, we can do it in a manner that will not harm someone.
