Revision - almost 8 years Post-Op

I had Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery in November 2001. At the time, I was the youngest patient in the state of Alabama. Since then I've had two kids and put some of the weight back on. Has anyone had a revision (if it's possible) or a Lap Band after Gastric Bypass. I'm just looking for some info.

There are a few on the lapband board who had BOB - Band over By-pass. You may want to look at the revision forum too.

I know I have heard of this but I've never talked to anyone who had it done. I'd call one the doctors who does the Gastric ByPass surgery and see what their office tells you. You don't have to give them your name or anything. Last year I had wondered about this very thing and just never persued it. You can probably go the question and answer section and see if it is there.

I wish I could be of more help. I had my surgery back in 2002 and had gained about 30 pounds over the past few years. However, I had cancer last year and while going through the chemo I lost that and more. The tool still works but you have to get back into the good eating habits.
