Hope everyone is well today.  We had a wonderful weekend with out grands.  We always enjoy spending time with them.  They keep us "young"!!!

Here is a funny to get your day off to a good start........

My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, "Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?"  I mentally polished my halo and I said, "No, how are we alike?"   "You're both old," he replied.

Have a blessed day and go for the gold!!!

Out of the mouth's of Babes!! Thanks for the chuckle Debbie.  I didn't see this Tuesday morning, but it is Wednesday morning.  I am still sitting here and I should be asleep.  I just took some nighttime cold medicine.  I hope it works.  About 2:00 today my nose was running.  It kind of does that a lot because our office has been cold.  I noticed it wasn't.  By time I left at 5:15 to take the mail...I was coughing and hacking.  My chest is congested, my head is hurting, my sinuses are draining.  I tink I hab a code!

Please pray for healing.  I can't afford to be sick.

I have a financial report that was due the end of December and I got a reprieve because they canceled the board meeting.  It still isn't finished.

We have a great speaker coming in to speak about "Reviving the Bible for Catholics" at one of the Mobile Churches on Saturday and in Montgomery on Sunday afternoon.  We sent out over 1050 letters around the archdiocese and e-mailed over 700 notices.  I have to work from 8:oo a.m. until around 1:30 or 2:00 Saturday, plus I have to do all the shopping for continental breakfast for 300 and bake 60 muffins before Saturday.

My mother's only sister and last living sibling died Sunday morning and the funeral is Thursday.  It begins at 9:00 at Radney on Dauphin St. for Visitation and viewing.  Then to Saint Cathering Parish on Spring Hill Ave in Crichton for the funeral Mass, and then out to Tillman's corner for the burial at Memorial Gardens.  That is where my mother is buried.  Aunt Frances was the closet aunt I had even though I haven't seen her that much in years.  I thought she was 82, but found out she was born June of 1921.  That made her 88 years old!  She was the sweetest lady.  This is going to be a really hard one for me.  I am trying to focus on my mama and their mother, my wonderful grandma meeting her in heaven with open arms.  I am trying to picture them celebrating her coming home!  There is a really tough situation with her youngest son, my age and his son who were living with her...mental health issues.  Please pray for the whole family and that I am healthy enough to make it to the funeral and through theh rest of this week.

We have GOT to get together with you and Jimmy before the end of February.  What is your schedule like in February.  Wouldn't it be nice to have a Valentine dinner, You and Jimmy, Richard and I, Sandy and Bill, and whoever else you can think of!!  Maybe Saturday night, February 13th or Sunday afternoon on February 14th...Valentines day.  We could even go some where in Malbis Center and have Jackie and Tim come too.  Maybe Julie and Teddy, Sandi Cushway and her DH, Olivia and Albert and of course Evie could come too!!

I'll go and try to get sleepy so I can go to work tomorrow.  Love you girl.  We really do need to plan something.  Check your calendar.

P.S.  The support group was tonight and I planned to go straight from work, but felt so so bad.  I forgot to call Sandy...I will call her and Lee tomorrow or e-mail them.  I have really been trying to go!

I forgot to tell you.  I was out and about Friday evening with Richard.  We wnt to Hobby Lobby on Schillinger road.  I have been looking for ideas for my bathroom makeover.. Just shower curtain, towels, wall decor, et.  They had so many Ladybug items.  If I wans't so broke right now, i saw so many thngs I would have liked to have bought for you.  You were on my mind all evening and then I went to several places on Saturday after gong to see my Aunt and say Goodbye.  I don't remember where all I went.  I know I was in Hudson's...I don't know if that was one of the other places I saw lady bugs, but I see them everywhere!! I've even seen stickers...at Dollar Tree I think, but I also think there were some at Hobby Lobby.  We walked through the whole store, after dinner at Sonny's Bar B Q.  We walked in about 5:45 and looked around until they announced they were closing in 15 minutes...it was 8:00 p.m when we left.  We were in there over 2 hours, but I went up and down every aisle, dragging poor Richard behind me.  I got a lot of good ideas for the bathroom  Black and white - old fashion - pictures of old clawfeet bathtubs...I am going to buy unfinished wood plaques and either freehand paint or find a picture and decopauge pictues on black painted wood.  My shower curtain is gong to be medium Teal Blue-Green, I want towels in the same color family...tone may be darker and the floors are black...will get rugs to match towels and shower curtain.  The rest will be in black and white so I can colors by chaning towels,  shower curtain and rugs maybe seaonally...I can just see Red with that black and white!!!  Yummy.  Here I went and posted too long...AGAIN!!  Oh well I write like I talk...non stop.  You gotta love me...God's law!! LOL
