Just quick note to say Hi!

I never thought I would miss Mississippi so much but I have been in Ky since Dec 9 and won't be returning homr until Feb . I am helping my brother out. He fell in Nov and broke hos femur and ankle and had a rod put in his femur, which hasn'w quite healed yet. He got the cast off his ankle and replaced with an aircast, which came off Jan. 05. He goes back Feb 02 and hopefully the big leg brace will come off and he will be able to put full weight on his leg, he is just allowed to do toe touch now. We have had several arguments because I know what he's going through, been there done that, so he can't bluff me into feeling sorry for him and go easy on his home exercises. He really makes me upset with him when he tells me he can't do an exercise, especially the ones he has been doing since he came home from the hosp on Dec 10. Just pray forme that I get through this and don't get so upset about this that I get an ulcer. One good thing about this, I am going to a Women's Conference on Saturday at his church Angela Thomas will be the speaker, it is from 8:00-3:00, I am looking forward to it. Keep me in your prayers and I will be thinking about you all. Can't wait to be back where it is warmer, I am tired of freezing here, I know it's been cold there too, but not like here. It is supposed to be warmer this week, in the 40's by Thursday, had snow last Thursday, about 2 inched and it snowed a little bit on Monday. Gotta go for now , take care. Linda Mason

Hey there Linda!!!!  It is great hearing from you.  You just keep on pushing him with those exercises.  I know if it had not been for my oldest daughter after my WLS, I would have never gotten so far.  She MADE me get up and walk and drink water.  I would literally almost cry (so ashamed) to her and tell her I couldn't, but she made me.  She would not take no.  He will appreciate what you are doing later.  You just take care of you, too.  Yep...it has been cold here, but only a little snow.  Hope it warms up for you.  I am praying that God will give you ease and give you a special blessing for what you are doing.
