Happy 2010

Happy 2010 to all of you!

And for those of you in North Alabama, throw another log on the fire, bring out some extra blankets or turn up the heat. It is a COLD start to a NEW YEAR here!

I am relaxing at home,recovering from my Christmas Present to myself--Ankle/Foot surgery that was done
on Christmas Eve. Timing worked out well since I was already off work a couple of days at that time and the surgeon was on trauma call for the hospital and he had to be at the hospital anyway. I worked last Thursday and the will be returning on Monday. Other than that and two SHORT trips out of the house for a very little time of shopping--I have been at home in my warm jammies resting and letting the pain meds do their job. The cast should come off next week and then about six weeks in a boot--THEN...I can start to walk on my foot again. I sure do miss that foot!

It's cold here on the coast too.
Praying you are up and about soon. I bet you miss that foot. Take it easy and don't ru**** you know that can slow you down in the long run.
