I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.  (John 12:46)

Light is the visible movement of time.  Without light, there is no concept of time.  Without light, molds, mildews and such as that will grow.  In darkness, things are hidden and the truth is not seen.  Once the light pierces the darkness, things clear up, fogs roll away, darkness is shattered, we see things clearer.   There is nothing more beautiful that a sunrise in the early morning.  Once we accept Christ, we no longer walk in darkness.  He comes into our lives and lights the way for us.  He is that beautiful Sonrise after a painful time of darkness.  We should also be a light that shines for Him to reach others.
