If you are going to church this morning, park in the far parking lot and take the longest route to your destination in the church.  Stop and visit with your church members along the way and it won't seem so tiresome.

Plan to eat a light lunch...if you eat out Chinese soups are a good choice.  Appetizers are always a good selection to be served with everyone else's entrees.  Be care of salads, as early on many of you may not tolerate lettuces well or acid foods like tomatoes.  Tomato seeds can also be a problem and cause foaming for some people.  I still have problems with pickles,  because of the acid in the vinegar.

Plan your meals ahead.  Remember the rules, do not drink 30 minutes before, no drinking during the meal and wait 30 minutes after the meal to drink again.  Your best drink is always water, but tea and coffee are acceptable.  However, when you drink tea and coffee, watch what you add to them and remember they tend to dehydrate you, so you will have to drink extra water.

Cannot stand the taste of water....try to carry Crystal Lite packets with you.  I would advise you put them in a zip lock bag, as I have had some rupture in my purse.

Good day to take the dog for a walk.  Play with your grandchildren or children in the yard.  Spend some time gardening...all good exercise and enjoyable.

Well--Christmas is over and it is time for New year's resolutions.  My resolution is to stick to my eating, exercise and fitness program for life.  Start back to the gym tomorrow although my throat is Still raw and I feel like death on a soda cracker.  Hope I don't spread this stuff to my trainer.  i took pity on the church this morning and did not go and spread it there.  I want to be over this!

I followed my eating plan over the holiday. but true to my word I have not weighed.  did not get a lot of exercise so don't know where I am--other than determined!
