Those ##2$5@&# scales.......
..yes, I am just as susceptible as anyone to having a scale not move get to me. I know I am doing the right stuff--from all of your advice along with my nut and surgeon. I journal everything I eat, I eat what I should, and I exercise more than I have in 40 years! I am loosing inches--fairly dramatically---so--I am taking a break from the scale. No more weighing for me until after the 1st of this year--unless I have to go to the Dr.
Hope you had a blessed week-end and I wish you a GREAT Monday!

Sometimes you are gaining muscle and it weighs more...so you are losing fat, but it just doesn't show up. We have the same surgeon. He is good, isn't he? I just never liked his snippy little assistant.
Just keep doing what you are doing and it will come off...as a matter of fact it is actually coming off and you may experience a sudden drop unexpectedly. Your body just does that.
You might also check and see if you have been eating something that has salt or even something that you could allergic to that could cause you to retain fluid.
Best of luck, and yes, it is frustrating....we have all been there.

Gary put those scales away! they LIE! Once I started walking my legs got so small, but tummy Fat is still around me, last Nov. I lost down to 123 lbs. which is little for me. but those scales said different things when I first started losing weight, some months I weighed the same as the month before. You get at a stand still. Believe me you are doing a great job. Thats a lot of weight to lose and you have proved you can, it will keep coming off. You keep up the good Work! Thats from your Froggy Friend
Thanks for the words of wisdom--I shall keep on keeping on!

Gary,
I had to check this out because 1) you are such a hard worker and 2) I never thought I'd see "swear" words with you. ha!
I have been dinking around with the same five pounds for months now and feel your pain..... hang in there. Putting away the scale and thinking solely about the process and YOU is the key and you are doing that. See what I mean about you being such a hard worker (and so wise too). Hang in there!
