Friday Hugs
Sending out hugs on this cold cold Friday morning. It is an awesome day. You all keep warm and have a great day!!!! Love ya!!!!
You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:39)
We cannot love others unless we have a love for ourselves that is rooted in God's love for us. A proper, healthy love for one's self leads a person to be generous and giving to others. A wise person knows that God has loved them even though they did nothing to deserve that love, and therefore, they are much more likely to reach out with love to others even though they may have done nothing to deserve love. It is often hard to reach out to someone that you feel bitterness or resentment toward. I know this because I have been there. Go to that person, give them a hug and ask God to fill you with love for them. I promise you, it works.
